Woodbank is a tremendous set of apartments for retirement living. The apartments are bright, modern and well equipped. The communal facilities are excellent - bar, lounge, restaurant, gym - and provide an option to engage with others when you want. The chef prepares delicious meals cooked to a restaurant standard in an inviting environment.
All the staff at Woodbank are very kind and attentive, and it is a great comfort to know that my father's apartment is part of a caring community. The management sets great store by the family being happy and we are welcomed whenever we visit. They keep us informed and we can call them to discuss anything with them. We are part of the extended Woodbank family.
I would recommend a visit if you're thinking about retirement living for you or a family member. You will be warmly greeted by the Manager and her staff and they will listen to you.
My father spent over 3 1/2 years at Woodbank and it has been a wonderful place for him. We are so grateful to all the staff who are consistently kind and thoughtful. He made good friends with the other residents and has been very well looked after.
Since moving to Woodbank in July ,to be nearer to our family, we have settled in nicely.Every one of the staff are very helpful, friendly, and always on hand if needed.There are many activities that residents can join in if they wish to.Viv and Alan, No: 9.
Living in a Birchgrove apartment has allowed my mum to continue her independent life. With the reassurance of the 24/7 presence of the on-site concierge team we are all happy.

I have been made to feel so welcome by everyone from the minute I moved in. It is a fabulous place to live and I am thoroughly enjoying all of the activities on offer. I love living here!The staff are wonderful! They are sensitive to needs and always there with a smiley face. I am always made to feel that nothing is too much bother. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing place to be able to continue living independently.
Wow what a fabulous place. My mum moved in in December and it is the happiest I have seen her in a long time. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful and she was immediately made to feel at home. It is such a lovely welcoming community and she is really enjoying taking part in all of the many and varied activities on offer. She is a regular in the Wellness studio for exercise classes!I feel so happy that she is having fun and managing to continue living independently whilst also knowing there is always a kind smiling member of staff happy to help or support her if she needs it.
Well managed, comfortable accommodation. Staff are caring and friendly and our neighbours are very pleasant. Plenty of varied activities. Support is excellent. Maintenance on hand whenever needed.Good cheerful cook.Couldn’t be happier
Woodbank apartments is a home from home! Whenever I visit my Mum there I am greeted with a warm and welcoming environment, there is always a beautiful smell and fantastic display of flowers in the entrance.
The snug is perfect for a coffee and a catch up!
The food in the restaurant is great quality and my Mum loves the choice on offer.
There are lots of activities and themed nights on weekly!

My brother in law and his wife recently moved into Woodbank Apartments in Woking, so my husband and I flew over from America to visit them and see their new surroundings. We were very impressed with everything we saw there. It’s a lovely new building, immaculately maintained and very light and airy. As well as individual apartments, they have communal areas where the residents can meet for social activities or a meal, or simply to meet and chat. They have a Snug (bar), a lounge with shelves of books to borrow, a gym and a super restaurant. We stayed in their guest suite, which was large and comfortable with a private bathroom, and I can say from experience that their full English breakfasts are absolutely delicious. They also serve small lunches in the Snug and have a full restaurant for anyone who doesn’t want to cook for themselves. The staff are fabulous. Very welcoming to residents and visitors alike, and they make the whole place feel like a wonderful family environment.
My mum lived in Woodbank Apartments for 3 years, and I cannot praise this place more highly. The staff are SO lovely, kind, thoughtful and caring. The apartments are set in the most wonderful setting, and it really is the solution for giving elderly parents their independence but knowing they have a constant support network around them. Wonderful weekly timetable of activities, theme food nights, movie nights and delicious food enhanced the whole experience. Mum made so many wonderful friends who also look out for each other. Wholeheartedly will continue to recommend. Thank you to the whole team.
Can’t recommend Woodbank Apartments enough , my relative is currently at Woodbank and the care is excellent, place is immaculate , highly recommended.
